The concept for Magnolia Hospitality Group, Inc. began in 1968 when our founder Dr. Alan Swindall opened his first two Holiday Inn properties in Phenix City and Opelika, Alabama. By focusing on the core principles of integrity, professionalism, quality and innovation, Magnolia Hospitality group has grown into a leader in the Hotel industry today. Our properties and leadership have been recognized by our brand partners consistently by earning service awards, renovation awards and most recently, the IHG lifetime achievement award, the Kemmie.
